C. there is 22 pairs of autosomal chromosomes in humans. These don't include sex chromosomes X and Y.

Should be 22 autosomal pairs. That paired with 2 sex chromosomes (XY or XX) should give you 23 chromosome pairs, or 46 chromosomes total...pending of course every chromosome disjoins (disjunction) properly.
