So as I'm trying to review my list of schools I applied to I became worried about bio requirements.

Many schools require 2 semesters of bio. My school was quarters and we only needed 2 quarters of bio. I also took genetics, biochem and micro, would these fulfill that requirement or does it need to be offered through the bio department? I could call each school and ask but I was curious if anyone else has run into this issue.

Wait, so genetics, biochem and micro weren't offered through your college's bio department?

Was there a 3rd quarter of intro bio offered?

My school is also on quarter system and they offer 3 quarters of intro bio.

^^Looking now there are 2 other bio courses after those but they are honors only and for pre-med I was told I had to complete the first two. I didn't even know the series continued but I guess it does only for honors students.

The bio department is actually EEOB (Evolution, Ecology and Organismal biology)

There is a Molecular Genetics department and this is what my course is listed under.

At the time I took Biochem it was listed under bio chem. That department is joined with chemistry.

Lastly, micro bio has it's own department as well and my course is listed under these courses.

I also inquired because there is a separate section for requirements that lists each of these.
