I just finished my second bootcamp bio test and got a 19. My exam is in one month...What do you guys think? 😕

I feel like a month is a long time to bring that score up! How'd you do on the first one anyway? Maybe you just had a bad practice test.

i dont remember but i think i got around the same score on the first bootcamp or maybe a bit higher

At first I was worried too...I'm in the same boat as you averaging around 18-20 on Bootcamp bio and DatqVault bio. I'm just using them as exposure to the problems I'll get on the DAT and learning from my mistakes. I will be doing them all again and reviewing all the problems I got wrong. I think exposure and practice is key, since this section is extremely random there is a lot of luck involved. With DatQvault, Bootcamp, and DAT destroyer I will have been exposed to over 1000 biology practice problems. Just study whatever you can and just go with the flow my friend. A 19 is not a bad score on practice, just use them as PRACTICE and not take them to heart. I think I saw one person on this forum who averaged 19 and got a 28 on bio on the DAT. Do whatever you can and hope for the best.

Well idk why that score would be cause for concern anyway, especially given a month to prepare. I have my test in a little less than a month now too (sept 3) and hope to improve on my scores as well. If you miss them now, it will be less likely that you will allow yourself to forget that information later IMO.

hehe thanks!

I have a month left, and I haven't even started practice exams for bio. Eeks! I shall start soon.

don't sweat it. Bootcamp is a bit harder in my opinion. I think I had a Bio score above 20 only once and I got a 20 on the real one. Just make sure you are learning from the questions.

+1 to a lot of the advice above. I was averaging 17-19 on bootcamp and scored a bit higher on the DAT. Bootcamp trains you to really think about the questions... so after a few tests you'll be set. Good luck

What about qvault bio? Is that one pretty representative as well? i think bio on the real thing is luck as well !

I scored in the low 20's on Bootcamp, and got a 27 bio on the real deal. I loved Bootcamp, very representative of the real exam in terms of the way the questions are worded.

qVault bio is useful. I played around with a friends and did 2 practice tests. If you have the time and $, it certainly will not hurt.

yay! thats a big jump from practice scores to real deal. congrats! what did you feel helped you to score this high? you happened to get questions from the topics you were more familiar with?

I purchased qvault bio as well. the questions are worded similar to bootcamp. i am not sure which one is more challenging
