Hey guys,
nice forum you have here.
I recently started studying for my DAT. Im planning on taking it at the beginning of april. I am signed up with the Kaplan course and have been using the blue book. No tmany people seem to like the Bio section of this book. Without trying to push a certain company's product, but with honest opinion. What would you say is the best way to prepare for the bio section?

I'd say take lots of bio courses and study hard for them. Then study AP Cliff's. If you haven't had a lot of bio courses or don't recall much information from them then AP Cliff's should still be sufficient, lol. Refer to your bio text or internet sources for topics that cliff's doesn't have enough detail about.

I'm looking for more of a review. I've taken my share of bio courses.

I've done fairly well in them. I just want something to pull it all together. How in depth is the DAT? Kaplan's review is making my memory jump back to me, but i've noticed alot missing. For example, in the digestion section they don't name the sphincters (cardiac, pyloric, oddi) and the large intestine is just described as retaining water and salt. Nothing about ascending or descending.

I'll check out Schuam's though, Thanks.
