Hey guys,

After going over 3rd edition Cliff's AP Bio, I just did the MC portion of the first practice test and I only got 67/100 🙁 Most of the questions I got wrong were on plants (angiosperms, mosses and ferns), genetics (predicting F generation outcomes) and types of animals (coelom and worms). My question is does anyone know if these are big sections on DAT? Should I go over them in detail or can I start doing different tests and just learn from my mistakes?

Thanks a lot everyone!

I wouldn't say they are "big sections" but a couple questions here and there can add up. Also, every DAT is different & you may get unlucky and end up with 3 plant questions.
I'd say review as much as you can, especially if you have some time before your DAT. Why not? It will pay off!

If you don't have a lot of time (which was the case for me), just hit the basics so that you can make a best guess on the actual exam. It's true that subjects like cell bio are more likely to pop up.

Oh, and I strongly recommend Ferralis bio notes! They help a lot 🙂
