okay so this is off the top of my head now. I know sperm cannot move until they are mature and go through capacitation. I'm not sure when this occurs but I know it's sometime before it enters the vagina.

Are you referring to hormone changes? I won't go too in depth.

FSH and LH are produced. Inhibin is secreted inhibiting FSH production. LH surge occurs. This is when ovulation occurs and the primary oocyte starts it's meiotic division. Meiosis is stopped until sperm comes along and meets in the oviduct and as soon as it penetrates the egg the second meiotic division occurs. Sperm and Egg combine forming a diploid zygote 2 cell-->4 cell-->16 cell-->Morula -->Blastula -->Gastrula stage -->Neurula stage. I think that's all the endocrinology you need to know for human development. oh yea, and corpus luteum secretes your estrogen and progesterone to thicken the lining of the uterus to allow the blastula to implant in the uterine lining. hcG is secreted from the developing embryo and it maintains the corpus luteum until the placenta takes over.

Hope that helps...not sure if that's what you wanted but yea good review anyways!

we Men have it easy...
All we do is shoot sperm and brag about how big our packeges are...

poor women have to hold a zero-8 pound living organizm in them for 9 months and finally shoot it out (ripping through thier vaginas)

Soooo glad God gave me the Y chromosome
