are B-lymphocytes the same as plasma cells? In Schaums it says B-lymphocytes make antibodies and i know that plasma cells make antibodies. Help me out SDNERS.

that's what I got according to Kaplan...b lymphocytes produce plasma cells which produce antibodies which recognize and bind to specific antigens tagging antigens so their easily recognized by phagocytic cells...antibodies also cause antigens to agglutinate and form insoluble complexes, facilitating antigen removal.
