I know this has been talked about in other threads but I just wanted to isolate and get more input on this specific topic.

it seems like from what people are saying that there is a number of biochem questions on Comlex now. If so can anybody put a number on the amount of biochem questions they recieved? Im a very strategic test taker and I really like to know how much time I should invest in a particular subject (as it is now, Im about to review hours of biochem lectures I had during this last year). Also what kind of biochem questions? are they genetics based biochem or just straight up "name the enzyme or rate limiting step"?

I really would love any input. I don't have much time left and want to use it effectively. Thanks and good luck to everyone still taking it.

Don't review old biochem lectures, they aren't high yield enough. Go through FA biochem and use BRS/high yield if you are weak on the subject. If you have Uworld use that and do all 300 some questions and know them cold, explanations and all. I had probably 30-50 depending on what you consider biochem, some straight forward and other tougher metabolic questions that were not so easy. I knew I was weak so I started and ended with biochem and I did very well on that section of the usmle, comlex has yet to release my scores. The two test's biochem sections were very similar in my case. Goljan's 100page notes are good too.
