Hi guys, I have been following for quite some time now, but this is one of my few times to post.

I was just looking at the admission requirements for dmu at their website and it doesn't say that they require the biochem lab for admission. I checked it through their course catalog and it also says that they do not require it for admission, only the biochem class itself at three hours.

I checked both of these sources with the DO handbook and the handbook says that dmu requires the biochem lab but only a total of 3 hours are required for biochem.

I interview on the 19th of Feb and I want to make sure that if I drop my biochem lab that I Would still have fulfilled all of the requirements for admission to dmu.

All of the help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!

I was told that they preferred applicants to have a biochem lab, but I explained to them that biochem at my undergrad does not have a lab component. They told me that it shouldn't be a big deal. But then again I was deferred pre-interview, so take that for what it's worth! Call them and talk to them directly!
