biochem lab...

Hi, I don't know if this is the appropriate forum..
But i'm just wondering, is the biochem lab necessary for med school?
I am taking the class, but the lab is offered seperately.
I just find the content to be as much as a class, and it's only worth .25 credit..

your opinions..??

I am taking biochem without the lab for medical school and that is what my pre-med advisor said was the best course of action.
