Oh man... I got all excited when I saw this link for biochem (I need all the help I can get 🙁 ) but the link doesn't work.
kellysmith said:hey - does anyone have a good source where i can find a summary sheet of the biochem pathways? lippincott has it broken down into sections but i'd like to find a source where everything is one page so i can relate everything together...
thanks....
Step Up has a pretty good summary page of metabolic pathways...
Also, the following are from my super-secret source:
The Top 10 Most Important Enzymes
10) Branched Chain Ketoacid DH (MSUD; TLCFN)
09) HGPRT (salvage pathway; Lesch-Nyann)
08) Hexoseaminidase A
07) Methylmalonyl CoA mutase (B12 dependent)
06) Homocysteine Methyl Transferase (B12 dependent)
05) UDP-Glucoronosyl Transferase (Criggler-Najjar; etc)
04) Vit. K dependent Carboxylase (bleeding; etc)
03) DHFR (Lots of Pharm directed at this)
02) HMG CoA Reductase
01) G-6-PD
Good luck everyone!!

go to:
http://aamm.unm.edu
Then click on biochem, and toward the bottom of the page will be a sheet with rate limiting steps (author is "various"). It has enzymes and regulators, but it is very short and to the point.
Which reminds me.... I really should memorize that sheet in the next 6 days!
Good luck
