SDN'ers,

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what (if there is one) the typical biochemistry text is for medical schools?

We use Devlin...although I don't have it and am not sure of it's title! Our syllabus is pretty much it's own book.

I think at many med schools the class notes are the primary resource, the textbook is secondary. The one you should definitely buy before all others is Champe & Harvey (Lippencott Review). After that I like Devlin because of the clinical correlations. FWIW, our issued text was Lehninger[sp?], but many of the excerpts/diagrams in our notes were from Devlin.

YOU CAN'T HAVE MY NOTES! STAY AWAY! DO YOUR OWN WORK STOP LEECHING OFF OF ME AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!

WHAT'S THAT? WHAT DO YOU MEAN "GUNNER"? NEVER HEARD OF IT STAY OUT OF MY BACKPACK.
