Lehningers Principles of Biochemistry is the BEST BOOK!!!!!!
their web site is http://www.worthpublishers.com/lehninger/

I am using this in my biochem class this semester and I love it. It is the best science course textbook I have ever used. I graduated last year as a bio major, so I have gone through lots of textbooks. This is the best in my opinion.

Hi fellow Bruin,
I second Lehninger. For links, you can try voh.chem.ucla.edu (usually my profs would put some important ones on their sites). I also like the simulation videos and chem programs in the 6th floor computer lab (YH 6096). Good luck!

The new Stryer is a really good read. A little dense, but very understandable.
