Hello,

Should I still take biochem if I was already accepted to a school that does not have it as its prerequisite? I spoke to their admissions and they said I don't have to take it, but do you think its fundamental to know for dental school and I might be behind if I don't?

In my opinion, having prior knowledge for dental school classes has been incredibly helpful in doing well and in making the constant bombardment more bearable. I would take it if I were you.

If you can get a refund, I would do that. You can study by yourself if you're disciplined. Otherwise taking it wouldn't hurt.

Maybe you can audit the course? That way you get the material but can relax this last semester before school.
