Hi Guys,

I am taking my MCAT next week and am struggling a bit with biological sciences. I understand the concepts, but have trouble deciphering how to apply them to the passages. Does anyone have a strategy for this section?

I view passages as giving us some extra information that the MCAT assumes we don't necessarily all know about. It's usually something new to learn to apply to the questions that follow.

When it comes to pathways of function, I write a flow chart. Confusion happens the most when pathways are described verbally.
