Bacteria derive their energy from:

A) Krebs Cycle
B) Glycolysis
C) ETC
D) A and B
E) B and C

Answer is E. I understand why B is correct but I thought ETC was done only in eukaryotes.

The mitochondria has an ETC that is responsible for the Krebs cycle, but bacteria can also have their own, other electron transport chains.

ETC occurs in both, it just occurs in different locations. all thats needed is an impermeable membrane to establish a proton gradient.
