For example, I was having a hard time remembering eutrophic lakes for ecology. Then just looked up eu- as a prefix and it means pure and that makes sense since it has a lot of nutrients and productive phytoplankton. Obviously I should have realized Eu- is true as in Eukaryote. But you get the the point.
This should make bio a bit more easier to learn.
