what does calcium bind to start contractions in a muscle?? troponin or tropomyosin..
2.what is responsible for increasing glucose concentration?? glucagon?
not sure what you mean by emergency for question number 3. Yes, sympathetic nervous system is part of the autonomic "fight of flight" NS. In the sympathetic NS, there is a pre and postganglionic nerve fiber. The preganglionic fiber secretes ACh neurotransmitter while the post ganglionic fiber will secrete norepinephrine to the proper effector muscles, ie. heart.
mmmmmmm..... i thought
sympathethic (fight or flight) - post ganglonic
parasympa (Acetylcholine)- pre ganglionic neuron
In both systems, there is a post and preganglionic nerve fiber. PNS only uses ACh neurotransmitter while SNS uses both ACh and norepinephrine
You must really good at Human physio. 🙂 I always confused at that subject. I will ask you when it comes up.
