Biostatistics vs Statistics

Will most schools accept biostatistics as statistics? I have to take the course in order to finish my degree and I need to take statistics to finish my prereqs. I don't want to take both.

Definitely research the schools that you're thinking of applying to. Schools that I've looked at do accept biostats but also regular stats which I took instead.

Email the schools you're interested and ask. Who knows, maybe your curriculum will allow you to replace your biostats requirement with regular stats.

Most schools will take biostats for stats but email them to make sure.
