is the chapter on biostats in brs beh science enough for the boards or should i pick up hy biostats?

It's more than enough. But do study it there probably will be a few questions on it.

I don't think you need HY Stats unless you haven't been taught stats in med school. They tested basic concepts on my test, and I had maybe ~10 stats questions overall. The last chapter in HY BS + FA + practice questions is enough.
