Bit of in a dilemma...

Coming from someone with a 22AA and above average GPA.. I would retake because in my opinion there are just too many people applying with good stats and you'll be kicking yourself for not retaking once you apply. I've only gotten two interviews out of 18 schools, I think you should do whatever you can to retake, it's just too competitive at this point to apply with that score. Again, this is just my opinion...

If you retake I think you have a shot at a couple of interviews. I heard RC is very important to admissions.

A 16 in QR isn't a deal breaker. A 16 on RC can be in most cases. I would retake the exam.

I think you should retake to give yourself a better chance, also an improvement in DAT/GPA/ECs are definitely welcome by adcoms. Also, anything below the national average DAT will definitely come up in your interviews so might as well save all that trouble by retaking it and doing better. Do whatever it takes (within boundaries, I don't want you going around hustling adcoms and what not 😛)
