I am new Black DO, and I am looking for others to tell me about thier experiences

You recently graduated from DO school or are you the class of 2010? You'll find more DOs in the osteopathic and resident forums since this forum is mostly premeds.

There were a number of black DOs in the hospital that I did some volunteer work. It is in an underserved community.

Hi, I recently saw a link on Western University of Health Sciences' website that it's the first D.O. school to have an alumna elected to serve as the president of the Association of Black Women Physicians. The aluma is Dr. NaNotchka Chumley and is the first DO in the group's 25-year history to become president.
