Blackout Day and USMLE Exam

Hi everyone,

I was taking the Step 2 on August 14 at Brooklyn Sylvan Center when the blackout occurred. I was on my 8th block. Anyone here who took their USMLE on the same day in the east coast?

I saw a similar post a couple of weeks ago. I think they give you the option to score your test with the blank questions taken as incorrect or to retake the exam. I m not sure whether they tell you how you did until the lights went out or not. But I think they don t.

Sorry to burst your bubble (if you haven't been called by the NBME already), but I'm speaking from personal experience when I say that the questions you didn't see, will all be marked wrong!

That is the official policy of the NBME!
