Hello does anyone know of the difference between these underground clinical vignettes? Which one is be better for step I prep.

Right now there is about a 100 dollar difference between 2005 blackwell and 2007 swanson's ucv.

Thanks

Don't really like the UCV series. Too long and too many cases to read thru.

But if you had to choose between the two, I'd go with 2007 swanson's ucv.

I always go with whats current. Since blackwell hasn't updated their ucv series, I wouldn't rely on them.

As for content goes, I'm not really sure. Haven't reviewed either one of them in great detail....

Just to clarify, the UCV written by Swanson's is the next edition up of the original UCVs when they were under Blackwell, hence why they are the 5th edition. Lippincotts Williams and Wilkins owns the UCV series for Step 1 and Step 2 now. Probably worth getting as it will drive u nuts if after your exam you wonder whether getting those books would have gotten u a higher score. Amazon is selling it for 15% off right now. ISBN for the bundle: 0781763622
