first off, screw QR, I really felt like I was doing well on it. And I'm mad about my Pat score, Kaplan definetly did not prepare me well for the Pat, was getting 23s mostly, the paper folding and angle ranking was harsh!

with a 3.3 gpa and 3.2 sgpa Im planning on a retake come Jan, but I'm crossing my fingers that I can at least get an interview or two because I interview well, and I did apply to 22 schools... lol.

but my main question is: do you think im toast with the two 15 s?

i took the test today too and i got a 15 on QR ...it seems like everyone is doing poorly on the QR ( lowest is 11 and highest ive seen is 18) so I dont this its THAT big of a deal....but since ure taking it again im sure u'll be fine...

What does the rest of your application look like? Volunteer, work, sports, clubs?

my app is pretty solid. I have 60+ hours shadowing a perio, and my father and brother are dentists so i have over 300+ hours of shadowing them. Another 40 with another general dentist.

I have thousands of service hours as I served as a missionary for my church for 2 years in Brazil. I did a few dental sealants programs and I did a snowbarding class for inner city kids.

I have my own marketing company I have been running with some freinds since 2002, but we are all kindof going seperate ways now, so we aren't doing much at the moment. But hopefully dental schools will like that I have some business experience.

I graduated in International Studies and my last 2.5 years of school I have a 3.6 gpa and a 3.5 sgpa. I have about 15 hours of post grad credit at a 3.7 gpa.

You're right... pretty solid. They'll love the business stuff! (On the advice of my mentor, I was a doubel major in Business and Bio for that exact reason!)

You know.... it is hard to say what they'll think of the 2 15's... Def. plan to reatake it in January... and KNOCK IT OUT OF THE PARK!!! Good luck! I am sure you'll do great!

Good Luck on the retake Joshwake! Try Crack Dat Pat or borrow it from a friend. Don't worry about the QR 15 but most schools won't look past the Ochem and Gchem.
