block testing - which schools do it?

as the title suggests, which schools use block testing?

What's block testing? (Curious, just want to know). I found some PPT on a google search, but it was all fluffed up...less frequent small tests, and just a huge test every few weeks?

MUSC does.

Block testing is basically having huge chunks of material divided in blocks of time. For example, at MUSC they have one test every few months on everything that they covered in that time. The week of the exam they have off to just study non-stop for it.
