So, as deadlines draw near, classes really get going, and nerves begin thinking about new ways to fray, I thought this was something good to get started now, before every one goes bat-$h!t-crazy here again.
What does everyone do when things get too crazy and they need to vent? I used to play diablo2, but the laptop of w00t 1337 battery-ness doesn't have that kinda power (yeah, sad, I know).
Instead, I try (yeah, try) to play golf when it's available, and ice skate when it's not. Golf works for me because no matter how bad I am (and oh my, am I ever bad....) I can swing and swing until my shoulder screams, and just whack the ever loving hell out of that ball. And even if I don't hit the ball, I get a satisfying chunk of dirt.
Skating... I wish I were good enough (and could get dr. clearance) to play hockey, but I'm not, so I just go as fast as I can, as hard as I can, trying new stuff I can't do until I'm totally exhausted. Better than running, and my knees enjoy it more.
oooh- and at night, when it's not too cold, and I'm not working, I like to just go for long wandering walks.
Anyone else?
