I am not an anesthesiogist and have no experience with dosing any type of drug so please forgive me if my question seems ignorant. After reading a little bit about how anesthesia can affect overweght and obese patients, I was just wondering if there is a scale that tells anesthiogist how much to increase or decrease the dose based on height and weight or bmi? Also, how much does 1 lb and1 inch of height, or 1 bmi point actually make when dosing?
