Im about to complete FM residency at the end of June. Had a prelim pass on ABFM. Havent found a job thats a good fit for me yet. Anyways, how do I keep state licensure/active license even though I havent accepted any job offers?

for example, on the licensure re-newal, question asks where I will be working.

Most licensure renewals have an option of essentially "not sure" for no position yet or intention of working in the state, etc. It usually doesn't affect obtaining the license.

I don't believe it affects board certification at all. You need an unrestricted license, finish residency, and pass the exam. Maybe someone else who has finished the process could tell you more.
