Board Scores & Psych Residencies in NYC area

Hi,

I am new to this website. I am not sure if this question has been posted in other threads or not, but I was wondering if anyone knew what the average step 1 scores were for psychiatry residencies in the NYC area; this is including manhattan, brooklyn, bronx, long island, and queens.

And also, if you all don't mind sharing, what are your step 1 scores and which psych residencies did you all get into? If anyone did get into the NYC area specifically, can you please share your scores?

Your question is kind of specific and you may need to contact the programs directly. I'm sure they won't mind telling you. In general, though, average step I for psych I think is somewhere around 205.

virie - thanks for replying. i had a feeling it was around 205. but i am wanting to know what the average scores are for specific schools if anyone knows or if anyone got accepted in that area.
