Has anyone completed these questions and noted a score-correlation between BSS and the USMLE or COMLEX? I think they are difficult, but I am scoring as well as QBank (75%). Part of that is recognition of some of the questions (from Goljan exams) but it seems tougher than QBank. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

BSS is hard as hell. However, the explanations are GOLDEN. I went through one of the books and I found it to be helpful. In fact, most questions are helpful. Don't worry about percentage correlationtions!! LEARN!

I just did the BSS series in the last week, about half of it. Now I went back to q-bank to redo some of the questions that I got wrong. For some reason they seem really easy now.

And yes the funny thing is that my bss score was almost the same as q-bank on the average. With q-bank I could of predicted the answer just because of the repetitive nature of them. With bss I knew I could get the answer if I thought about it a little longer.

q-bank - knowledge
bss - using your knowledge (for the most part)
They are just different type of questions.

Purchase the books or CD...on ebay likely.

I definitely like BSS better than Qbank. BSS is a little harder, but if you want to do well and not just pass, that is preferable.

I am sure they will be very beneficial. So I am guaranteed around a 600 on COMLEX right??? 😕 😕 🙂

Exactly the same. I would recommend them, for sure...not sure about whether I would weigh them higher than UCV. It depends on your study style. I used questions as a primary resource, so it worked for me.
