Is anyone else in a primarily PBL or independent study based curriculum?

If so, how are you going about studying for boards? How are you balancing that against studying new material for "school"? What's your timeline for dedicated studying? Any advice?

Me:
I'm in a PBL only curriculum, most of my learning is supposed to come from small group sessions and reviewing learning issues that we've generated. My semester goes until the end of May, then we have ~5weeks of dedicated study time before we have to take courses in preparation for rotations through June/July (have another 2-3weeks off at the end of July).

My current plan has been spending 1/3 of my time board studying/review (this includes topics we've sort of covered but not fully, ie we did neuro tumors in group but skipped the childhood ones) and 2/3 towards studying for topics for PBL/school exams, then starting in Jan spend 3/4 on board study and 1/4 on studying for school.
