Which board scores are most relevant for applying for residency? I or II ?

Do most allopathic residency programs accept
COMLEX scores ore must a DO applicant take USMLE?

Step I is most relevant. Many applicants will not have taken step II by the time they apply.

It depends. If you score low (compared to average) on step 1, but take step II prior to residency applications, PDs tend to take step II more into consideration. The key is studying your butt off to make certain you get a great score on step II, otherwise, you've sealed your fate as far as the board scores go...
