I am preparing to take my boards and am trying to figure out which boards materais are best for my needs. I have a pretty long commute, so im thinking dental decks would be pretty inconvenient. Does anybody know anything about the NBDE apps?

I have an iPad and bought Dental Boards Mastery and First AId. I felt that First Aid was useful for studying, but VERY difficult to use, plus the rationales were downright terrible. I felt DBM was a significantly better app because their mnemonics and pictures helped me understand and internalize what I needed to know for the test. I also felt that DBM was really user friendly.

I'm at Tufts, and have to change between a bus and the T for my commute making dental decks wicked inconvenient, plus I've seen some errors on cards(nothing new). I bought DBM and felt it was really portable in comparison. I also think that the statistics breakdown of my flashcards and quizes is really useful.

I downloaded DBM which had a bad update a few weeks ago that took their app away from me for about a day , I called their customer service and was helped by a guy named berto that had already taken his boards! Berto was awesome and helped me fix my app and even helped answer some questions I had about his experience taking the exam!!!

I tried both Dental Boards Mastery and the First Aid app. I felt more comfortable with mastery because their page says that they have over a 99% pass rate, plus their pictures and mnemonics were pretty awesome for helping me to ingrain the material better into my mind.

I used QbankDMD - you can use it on your smart phone or a tablet or your laptop. I found it very helpful for both Part 1 and Part 2

Would you say to use DBM instead of decks.. I am taking it for the second time and I have gone through some of the decks but not all of them. I have to take them in 6 days. Any suggestions
