I am scheduled to go to BOLC in this year.

Here is my qs..
1. I am a reservist, but am scheduled for the long course. How do I change this to the short course? Through my UNIT or call myself?

2. I live in San Antonio. Do I need to stay with the unit, or can I go back home during the training? If I can go back home, who do I inform about this?
