I have been put on a wait list for BOLC starting April this year.
Here is my situation
I am starting a residency in July 2019. I am in the Army Reserves. I understand I have two years from my commissioning date to attend BOLC.
I was commissioned in Jan 2018, and have been attending drills with my unit.
Since I will be starting residency in the summer, I have just this one opportunity to attend BOLC
So it leaves me with a sticky situation.
1. Do people generally drop out prior to start of class, or is it difficult to get in if you are on the wait list?
2. My S3 says they may allow walk ins. Anyone know much about this?
3. In case I am not able to attend BOLC, the next one will be after the residency in summer 2022. How strict is the Army regarding the 2 year policy and separation papers?
