I got a C on first exam. Still got a chance for an A in Calc II class? Anyone have similar stories? Any advice on what to change/any study tips about Calc II?

Check your syllabus and the grading process. If there are a lot of tests and quizzes sure you still have a chance... if not, you may just be working to get a B. The best advice I can give for math classes is do the homework... all of it...

3 more tests to go and a final (which is like 2 tests) and then we have homework etc for another 100 points
so:
breakdown is..
400 points in class exams
200 points final
100 points homework/attendance/quizzes
Just bombed a test (got a C). I need to pull it up - I do the homework but when I don't get an answer, I go straight to solutions manual which might not be the best idea 😛
Even if you got a 70 on the test, you can still miss a total of 40 more points to get an A (an A-, anyway, if your school does +/- grades). That'll be pretty hard, but it's doable.
No +/-
Straight A/B/C etc system
so yes ksmi is right, need 630 for entire course. I know I can do it but I'd love to hear what tips people have on doing well other than the obvious "do your homework problems" 🙂
What are you having problems with?

That would be the point of doing practice problems, yes.I guess I got to repeat some problems over and over again?
Do the math based on your syllabus. Nobody can give you that answer without knowing the point distribution.I got a C on first exam. Still got a chance for an A in Calc II class? Anyone have similar stories? Any advice on what to change/any study tips about Calc II?
