Anyone have a recommendation for a beginners bone pathology book? Ideally, it would be something similar to the biopsy interpretation series.

Not aware of one like that. We used McCarthy's book but last I checked it was out of print, no new edition, and old copies were absurdly expensive. I don't have much call to go looking for bone books, but there is both a tumor and a non-tumor AFIP fascicle for bone & joints. However I don't think I could call them condensed only-what-you-need-for-the-boards/residency type beginner books. There does appear to be a McCarthy bone path book in the differential diagnosis series though, but I don't know anything more about it.

AFIP book is readable.

Atlas of orthopedic pathology 2nd ed.Wold, Adler, Sim ans Unni. saunders 2003 is pretty concise.
