Ok, the reason that I asked about items.....

Here is the story, there are also results out there that discovers if a person is seen with any sort of debris on them at the end of that night. At first, I was not sure if this would really be useful in finding wolves and that it might just come back with debris if someone had a night action, however the results have been as follows:

N1: FFM - no debris
N2: Abbers - no debris
N3: allie, soil found
N4: LIS (LIS has buckle) - no debris
N5: Escalla - no debris
N6: Orca, pollen found
N7: Swings, unknown debris found (Swings cuffs FS)

So, it is alarmingly showing up with only wolves thus far and I was going to post this information earlier, but thought that maybe using items had an affect on if debris would be found or not.. I have shown above where someone was investigated AND also had an item that they used on that same night. Unfortunately, there were only two of these instances. Now, I don't know if swings is a wolf or not, but with the information here, I am not sure how to interpret it and wanted to make all the information available for everyone to decide on what they think could be going on.

Personally, I am not sure if swings is a wolf or not. I have heard the role/character she is claiming and well... it could be possible, but it could be made up as well. I also find out really odd that she handcuffed FS last night after saying on the thread that she was most suspicious of orca and vetassured... I would think that you would handcuff (block) one of the people you find suspicious... :shrug:

Anyway, there is the information. I am open to hearing defenses/discussion on what people think we should do with this information.

That really interesting. I feel the same way about her role be plausible though. I'm not sure, maybe she was the convert? I just didn't get the wolf vibe from her earlier in the game.

She claims her character "role" has a greater chance of obtaining items than others do. She has had 3 items throughout the game, seems a few others have had 2 items throughout the game... so really... kind of a crap shoot to tell if that is really a role ability or not.

I find this really odd as well....:eyebrow:

Tough call really. There's also the buckle vs cuffs thing and whether that has an effect.
 
I think the whole lucky thing may have just been a comment saying she had received a lot of items

I am not sure what you mean here.


She has told others that her role description says she is more likely to obtain items than other players.... this isn't an inference from something she posted on thread or anything. This is what I have been told she claimed in a PM on that free PM day.

Oh okay. Well in the PMing I've done with her I took it as she's just been getting lucky. I didn't question it, but that makes sense. Though if her character claim is who she said she could not have started out as a wolf.

Oh right, I guess I knew that. Thought you meant role, not role ability.

Yeah, dunno. Not sure why anyone would claim that ability if they didn't have it, though.

I kinda think I was right about Gormogon way back in the beginning (when I said I thought it was an original wolf), and we're maybe down to a convert wolf.

(Gotta think through Bones antagonists and see if there are any major ones missing.)

If I were converting I probably wouldn't convert a new player, but that's a pretty big guess.

I was going to cuff orca but wasn't sure or the cuffing would block your action as well so I went with being safe rather than sorry and chose FS

You are MISSING the main point... I don't care about her character role/role claim ability... she could have made them up... the character is not a hugely prevalent one... I looked it up, yes it is possible, but someone else even said that he isn't around a whole lot, so going off what they said...


I am asking for input on the INVESTIGATION results that I posted above... where allie, orca (both confirmed wolves) had been found with debris on them... Swings was found to have debris on her last night... No one else investigated has been found to have debris on them the night they were investigated... I am asking for what people think of these investigation results... not about her claimed role...

No, I got the main point. I was commenting on your note about role; the same thing Alors brought up.

Don't assume I missed the point just because I asked about something else.

I sorta think it's a no-brainer. If we don't have better data we lynch swings based on debris. Just makes sense. *shrug*

You couldn't have answered my actual question earlier? That was my question, really wasn't asking what people thought about her role... :laugh:

Actually, my main point was, could the use of the handcuffs have been why she had debris? That was why I asked about items. I kind of wanted opinions on if people thought if item use would play a role? You had the buckle N4 and were found with no debris that night, but not sure you really have to "do" anything to use the buckle... :shrug:

That is what I was wondering...

Eh. I was more curious about her claimed role. I'd still like to know.

I dunno about debris. I mean sure, either way seems possible. I don't have a guess as to which is likely. I didn't answer that because I dunno.

Barring new intel that raises suspicion on someone else, I'll vote to lynch swings.

It was made quite obvious/clear a couple times that cuffing would block actions. I know for sure that SnS posted as such much earlier in the game. So, yeah. And what do you mean by safe rather than sorry? I am not sure I quite get that statement...

Honestly, I'm really confused by your thought process here. How does using an item on someone targeted by a seer affect the seer? It can't.....

It's not like you went with vetassured either.

I dunno, I just find it pretty weird.

We shall see what info comes about tonight... I can only get role names every other night, so there might not be much.

Nevermind, I see what you are saying....

Yeah, you are using the item on 1 person, it isn't going to block 2 people because someone happens to use their role on the player that is getting cuffed. And you could have used it on vetassured as you were suspicious of them as well... it just doesn't add up to me.

It seems odd. But I can't ignore the debris either. And LIS is right, we can speculate if using an item would show up with debris, but we won't know without an investigation or lynching.

Yeah because I wasn't sure who DVMD was going to choose so I choose 3rd on my list who I didn't name on the thread. I didn't know if using the cuffs on someone blocked everything they used/their ability AND if people wanted to use something on them. I didn't have enough time to look through the thread to make sure. I was out with my mom all night. As for my role, it probably isn't a prominent role in the show but I also asked to join the game late when all the roles were already sent out so I'm sure the mods didn't have much to choose from. I am still a villager and alors already said there haven't been any conversions unless she was a conversion and is lying. Idk why debris was found on me but I have the belt buckle again tonight so you could check if I still have it after using the belt buckle. Any would anyone care to PM me tonight?

My role description is I find out if there is a conversion and that night the mods sent a message saying I personally thought like my role believes there has been a conversion
 
How likely is it that two villagers have the same role ability? I'm very curious who swings is claiming her role is....

But if there was not a conversion, that leaves a very small pool for original wolves and you are at the top. Not being mean, just with who has been investigated/roles claimed/etc, really narrows it down a lot.

I have a very plausible role that couldn't have been an original wolf. There are others flying under the radar that are probably just laughing at us. My suspicions go to the quiet ones the most. Investigate me and you'll see I have nothing to hide unlike others and am claiming my true role.

And I'm curious to know how DVMD got my role info if we're not allowed to PM? I gave out my role to a couple folks but it wasn't until later on towards deadline. And LIS (one of whom I gave my role info to) said he wasn't in contact with DVMD. And the other I don't think would give out my info...

Who are the " quiet ones"? Seriously? You? You are in that category yourself.

3D3C claiming the same ability is very odd... And she did help to break the tie for a wolf in one of the wolf lynches, I can't recall if it was allie or dwin, may have been both, but she could have done nothing and instead she unlynched someone, broke a tie and got us a wolf kill... Not a wolfie thing to do.

I'm going to bed have to be up soon. See what the night results bring us.

I'm not telling you this. The person who gave the info knows who they are and knows it was a legitimate way to communicate with me.

I'm ALWAYS quiet. I was referring to those that are usually more outspoken such as FS and FFM. Yeah and 3D3C could be a covert BECAUSE try broke the tie. Totally throws suspicion off of them. Looks like a good convert choice to me. That is my role and my possession of items has proven it. 2 vs. 4. You tell me which one sounds more realistic.

Could the person who told me your role and ability be a converted wolf? Yes possible. But they contacted me in an approved way.... There is a way to pm people in this game. And you aren't denying the role ability, so they aren't lying to me.

I'm simply posting info that I have... I'm even wondering if using the item could have been the reason you had debris. It isn't an attack on you, I'm not saying you are a wolf, but there is strong info here that you might be. That is all.
