No response in the IM forum, so posting here....again.

How does the pocketbook 'Critical Care Medicine' by Matthew Brenner compare to the Tarascon 'Internal Medicine & Critical Care' pocketbook? Should I go ahead and get both of them? Thanks!

omg, they are both so cheap and small just get both if you cant decide!

yeah okay dude / dudette.

i'm looking for a book that's pretty much all-inclusive for the unit... not fifty books! besides considering the limited pocket space from all the s hit we have to carry as an intern.

tarascon critical care was recommended by a few in the anesthesiology forum, so that is the one i got for myself. never heard of the other one you mentioned.

the tarascon has lots of reference info for at-a-glance, not in depth reading. I like it. The other gives detail on things, basically a mini-textbook
