Hi, guys.

Can you recommend any PCAT study guide or book that focuses on strategies for the writing section, and includes 5.0/5.0 style sample essays? The Kaplan book leaves much to be desired. I'm looking specificially for a book full of examples of topics and essays.

Thanks,

bee2bee.

I used MCAT verbal and writing review (Princeton Review) since I couldn't find any actual PCAT writing supplies. Honestly, the topics on my PCAT were just random things, I obviously cannot discuss them but they aren't what you would expect. I'm sure other people on here can vouch for that. The only thing you can do to prepare is build up your vocabulary, grammar, and basic writing mechanics. If you buy a Pearson practice test, they have an essay topic and example essays for each scale grade.
