book or manual for procedures and practical?

hai, im a final year med student and i would like to know ur suggestions on books where i can learn the procedures like lumbar puncture, thoracocentesis, cannulation, etc etc etc for residency.

i would like to learn this before i start my residency.:meanie:

Roberts and Hedges "Clinical Procedures in Emergency Medicine" is good, many procedures you're referencing will be well described even in older editions so no need to dish out the big bucks for the newest edition. Of course there is nothing like at least observing or doing the procedures. Based on what specialty you're going into you'll get to practice some of these skills on mannequins/simulators.
