I couldn't find the answer in any threads. For those who've already bought a good deal of books online, have any of you used AbeBooks? I've never heard of the site but was directed to it on dealoz.com because they had cheaper versions. For people who have used this site, have you had all good outcomes? And has anyone ever used an "International Edition"? I've noticed the international editions are cheaper and just wanted to be sure that they were the same as the US version, or at least close. Thank you for the help!

I've used Abe's and they will deliver. As for international editions, there are usually subtle differences and maybe the chapters are rearranged. Your professor should know the differences if the text is worth your time. I checked out the texts from our library reserves and if I liked it, I would buy the electronic version if available. I didn't even crack open a text for most courses outside of gross anatomy, neuro, ortho, biomechanics (with gait) and cardiopulm.

I can't speak for this website but I used international editions all thru undergrad and all books were always identical except soft cover and much cheaper. Often sites will give you a guarantee that the book is the same or you can return. One thing to think about international editions though is they can be difficult to resell. Bookstores can't and won't buy them.

Thank you! I think I'll go for it then.
