Hey current students, I have two questions. First, do you recommend buying books for first yr if you were in this situation? Took clinical anatomy, medical physiology, medical biochemistry, histology. medical microbioloy at a postbacc program (DO level) and have all the books from those classes (including teh bRS books). Now, the needed books are mostly the same author/editor, just different edition. Second question, what laptop did you all get? I like the HP computer that has the rotating monitor and allows you to write notes on the screen and it prints them out neat. Problem is, that thing is really expensive.

Cant help ya with the books. Laptops are a personal choice... I would always go with a Mac, as they are the only computers I have ever used that have last more than 2 years (in a good condition)... the current one I am using has been chugging along flawlessly since 2007.
