There's a nice thread about this stickied at the top of this forum. Also, you can read through the shelf exam thread for any rotation and see what people suggest.

Thats a good link, but poorly concise.
OP, most everyone carries
Pocket Medicine to look up the stuff medicine people see the most in their pocket. Great resource to have.
You need a PDA with
Epocrates or some other such pharma program.
For Studying...
Essentials and
MKSAP 4 are recommended to go together by most program directors. Solid review of knowledge, makes you potent on the wards, poorish shelf studying.
Step Up Medicine and
UWorld are recommended to go together to get the Shelf score you want. You'll have tidbits, fodder for pimping, but won't likely be able to communicate lengthily about any topic.
First Aid is an alternative to Step Up.
Case Files is mediocre, but fits in your white coat for down-time studying.
As VoiceofReason said, Medicine people are usually more impressed by confident and concise oral presentations rather than thorough H+Ps and medical tidbits. Unfortuantely, there aren't many good books that teach you that.
