Books for fellowship

Hello,

Any advice on which cardio text you should read prior to or while in fellowship?

My advisor recommended Braunwald's, although we didn't get into details.

Braunwald's is a big fat 2 volume textbook. Two of my mentors gave me a copy and I'm trying to read it all...it's got >>1000 pages, though. It's a great book.

I like Cleveland Clinic Manual of Cardiology also.
