Books for rotation

Hi guys im a 3rd year very interested in Ortho. Planning on doing 2-3 orth rotations. Curious to know what books would be good for a med student to have look over before an ortho rotation where I need to shine. So far i have heard Book of Fractures by Koval, Netters orthopedic anatomy. Suggestions please would be very helpful. Thanks

you only need 3:

1) Koval Handbook of Fxs

2) Netter's ortho anatomy

3) Hoppenfields surgical exposures


Also, the hoppenfields physical exam book is a good one and you can knock it out in an afternoon. Finally, Miller's review is overkill, but if you're superambitious, its not bad to have around.

Agree with above. Those three are the must haves.

Another overkill book I liked was Ortho Secrets. Easy to read and gets into some pimp type questions.

I liked Lange Clinical Ortho and Gowned and Gloved Ortho
