This seems like a silly question, but I cant find any threads on it!

What does everyone use to study for step 2?

Questions: I know there is much debate about Q-Bank vs USMLE World. Do folks also use NBME practice exams like step 1? (Are there any?) Or other question books? I assume no one uses pre-test from shelf exams?

Material: FA I know is again popular - I assume this means FA for step 2. (Not FA for medicine or FA for peds or whatever). Does anyone use blueprints? Case Files? Secrets? Etc????

Here is the most effective way of passing step 2 CK:

Kaplan step 2 books and USMLE world questions.

Read the books 3-4 times till the information is pouring out of every orifice.
At least do the USMLE world questions twice, making notes of important points.
If you must...get a review book--> FA step 2 ck OR Step 2 secrets by Adam brochert.
Know your concepts cold and recall, along with integrating information.
Take the NBME exam 2 weeks before your test. IF it says your good to go..then your good to go!

Although there is no guarantee that this method works..but most people that I have met or you will meet ..will surely not deny that this is the best method out there!
Good luck

hi,
Can you tell me where I find these Kaplan step II books and/or notes? I looked on the Kaplan site and could not find them.

Thanks in advance!
