Hey, just took my step 1 and did very well, hoping to repeat that performance on step 2. Its a little early but just wondering what books are used to do well on the Step 2. For Step 1 i used the kaplan dvd book series along with first aid/goljan and UsmleWorld and wonder if the same will work on step 2 or if things are different the 2nd time around. let me know whats up?

For step II, you'll find preparation is geared more towards doing questions with USMLE World, and less towards straight reading. I think most people find the strategy of picking one review book to go with (First Aid, Secrets, whatever), and spend the majority of your time doing USMLE World questions and hashing through the answers (I split my time 80/20 for questions+answer review/reading).
