Williams Obstetrics vs. Obstetrics: Normal and Problem Pregnancies by Gabbe😕

any opinions on one over the other???

also in terms of a core gyn book...anybody prefer either Telinde's Operative Gynecology or Berek & Novak's Gynecology instead?

Comprehensive Gynecology was also recommended by residents to me. I heard the ob books used are regionally dependent. In the south (i am in tx.) we mainly use william's. i haven't looked at gabbe. There are old threads on the subject.

The programs I have seen in the West use Comp Gyne for sure...Williams too for OB, but i def remember making endless copies of chapters from Comp Gyne for my Gyn Surg rotation. It's all the residents and attendings used!

I like Gabbe better than Williams. But that's probably because I own it. I've read some chapters of Willams and still like Gabbe more.

Comprehensive Gyn (aka Drogenmueller) is quite good, and the new version just came out.

I've had Novak since I was an intern, and it has step by step surgeries in it. Telinde's is also good for this.
